Enrichment Catalogs get New Name, New Look

LARAMIE, WY (January 15, 2008)— Catalogs for UW Community Enrichment Programs began showing up in mailboxes around Laramie last week.  As some people may have noticed, the catalogs had a new look, a new name, and were packed with new learning opportunities.
The Spring 2008 Enrichment catalog is now called “Community Connections: Personal & Professional Enrichment Courses.”  The name change was coupled with a redesigned cover but rest assured, the pages are still full of classes geared toward personal and professional growth.
“We are offering more classes than usual,” says Heather Landers, Enrichment Coordinator with UW Community Service Education.  “We have new instructors teaching classes we’ve never offered before and I hope the Laramie community will take notice.”
New classes include Basic Russian, Creative Writing, Archery, Gun Safety, Soups by Jeffrey, TIPS Alcohol Server Training, Retirement Planning, Celebrating Girls, Stretch & Stretch, just to name a few!
“Bring the whole family or sign up with coworkers,” says Landers, “Our classes are a great way to make new friends and strengthen relationships.”
The new catalog of classes can be viewed online at http://outreach.uwyo.edu/enrichment.  Classes begin now through the end of May.
To register for a class visit the Web Site or call Sheila at (307) 766-6802.  To inquire about becoming an Enrichment instructor, contact Heather at (307) 766-6801.
