July 7, 2006 (Laramie, WY) -- With the Laramie Roundabout series of classes hitting week three, the next stop will be the University of Wyoming, followed next week by a tour of Greenhill Cemetery.
Phil Roberts will guide the tour of the University of Wyoming on Saturday, July 8 beginning at 9:00 am. He will tell the story behind the original buildings and tell the tales of some of the people who have walked the campus. This tour is a unique opportunity to learn the history of Wyoming’s only state university.
The following week will feature Greenhill Cemetery on Saturday, July 15. The taleteller, Dan Nelson, will bring some of Laramie’s oldest residents to life for the journey, including the Johnson, Jensen, Ivinson, Holiday and Spiegelberg families. Participants are encouraged to come enjoy a morning of deadly serious entertainment.
The Laramie Roundabout series will conclude with a tour of Laramie Homes on Saturday, July 22 and a trip to the Union Pacific Train Depot with a Taste of Laramie on Saturday, July 29.
