Photoshop Classes Offered through UW Community Service Education

February 8, 2007 (Laramie, WY) --
Many people are discovering digital photography, yet are still unsure on how to get rid of red eyes, alter image sizes or convert the image to black and white or sepia.  Although some cameras have these options available, others need special software, which is where Photoshop comes into play.

UW Community Service Education has a wide-variety of Photoshop noncredit online classes available to help the budding digital photographer.  Classes start with the basics and go through advanced options.

Most photographers are more likely to have Photoshop Elements rather than Photoshop 7.0, CS, or CS2 due to the variations in price.  Photoshop Elements is more affordable and is able to do anything that photographers would need it to do.

Among the classes that CSE offers, in conjunction with Education2Go, are Photoshop Elements 5.0 for the Digital Photographer, Photoshop Elements 4.0 for the Digital Photographer, Photoshop Elements 4.0 for the Digital Photographer II, Photoshop Elements 3.0 for the Digital Photographer, Photoshop Elements 2.0 for the Digital Photographer, Photoshop Elements Projects, Photoshop CS2 for the Digital Photographer, Introduction to Photoshop CS2, Intermediate Photoshop CS2, Introduction to Photoshop CS, Photoshop 7.0 for the Absolute Beginner, and Introduction to Photoshop 7.0.

These instructor-facilitated classes are all six-weeks long, with eight-weeks to complete the course material. Participants have 24 hours a day, seven days a week access to the course materials. Two lessons are released each week, ensuring students plenty of time to complete the assignments.
