July 14, 2006 (Laramie, WY) -- UW Community Service Education, in conjunction with Education2Go, is pleased to announce two new classes to their noncredit online course lineup. These classes include Writing for ESL and Photoshop Elements for the Digital Photographer II.
Many ESL learners have excellent training and skills in their native languages, but find their academic or career progress slowed by the challenges of writing in English.
This course is designed to take the student through each step of the writing process, showing how to generate, focus and develop ideas. By the end of the course, the student will be able to produce writing that is clear, logical, cohesive and free of grammatical and punctuation errors.
Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows is full of outstanding features for advanced editing. This class begins with a few basics and quickly moves into the more advanced tools to teach detailed editing, how to build collages, restore old photos and more.
As a sequel to Photoshop Elements for the Digital Photographer I, students are expected to have previous knowledge in cropping, printing, color adjustments and the various selection tools.
