Laramie, WY (November 20, 2007) The University of Wyoming is opening enrollment in a selection of classes to everyone, regardless of current admission status. Seats are being opened to students interested in taking a UW class for the fun of it without receiving a grade or UW credit.
“There are some options to students who wish to take UW classes without worrying about the UW credit, these classes simplify the process by not requiring that students be admitted to the university,” says Sheila Couture, Director of the Outreach School Division of Community Service Education.
The classes being offered are Writer’s Workshop in Non-Fiction, Business and Communication (both offered in Casper), Regional Literature of the West, and Europe: 1930-Present which are offered state-wide via Wyoming’s Video Conferencing Network.
Non-credit participants must register by January 1, 2008, as space is limited. Registration for each class is $150 and is being administered by CSE. To sign-up visit http://outreach.uwyo.edu/conferences/conflist.aspx or call (307)766-6802 with questions.
