Serving the needs of our community

Education for Wyoming citizens encompasses all types of learning. These forms of learning include noncredit classes, forums, conferences, institutes, and workshops. We achieve this goal through several different departments at the Center for Conferences & Continuing Education: Conferences and Institutes, Events Planning, Community Enrichment, online noncredit opportunities, and special programs.

Our partners include service providers, other UW colleges and departments, organized learning centers throughout Wyoming, and well-established companies. Our division’s goal is to create learning initiatives in new directions.

We have been providing conference and event planning services, community education, and online non-credit programs to Laramie residents for many years. Now we are taking our services and new projects to the next level by integrating technology to provide more and better services to Wyoming citizens.

We devote our time to surveying the needs of our customers; marketing our services on campus, throughout the state and throughout the country; creating and/or coordinating programs that meet current needs; and fostering learning environments.
