Honors House Still Has Room Available for Summer

May 22, 2006 (Laramie, WY) -- Looking for a convenient on campus location for your next meeting?

The Honors House, the most eastern house on Sorority Row, is available and a great site for summer meetings and overnight stays.

This brick house, formally the Bunkhouse has a large dining room, which is a great meeting room with floor to ceiling windows, and opens onto a patio at the back of the house. It has large tables and chairs which makes it comfortable for either dining or meeting space. Its location is close to Fine Arts and the Law School, and just across the street, behind the house to Washakie Center.

The house has 13 rooms upstairs with 2 beds in each. Each room is equipped with linens; sheets, comforter, pillow and pillowcase, a fan and alarm clock. The living room has comfortable couches, chairs, a large television, VCR and a baby grand piano. The lower level boasts the game room with board games, ping pong tables, and a pool table. There is also a coin operated laundry room and computer lab.

Space is still available the first week of June or July and mid August. Consider this venue for office retreats, intimate parties or for visiting faculty.
