December 11, 2007 (Laramie, WY) -- Dec. 5, 2007 -- UW Community Service Education is now collecting items to help the animals at the Laramie Animal Shelter. Donations can be dropped at the UW Beta House lobby until Thursday, Dec. 20.
Suggested donations include:
-- Treats including Snausages or any soft treats (for both dogs & cats) in a bag that can be resealed, and rawhide chewies
-- Toys, especially squeaky balls for dogs and washable plastic cat toys. Cushy plush toys are also welcome.
-- Food/water bowls
-- Brushes
-- Leads (leashes)
-- Blankets/bedding
-- Cash Donations to help purchase Kuranda beds
"And the number one wish for the season is that you will think of the shelter when you are ready for a pet. Adopt, adopt, adopt, "says Pam Brekken, Outreach School Division of Community Service Education marketing coordinator.
