Dog Day Calendars Now Available


October 31, 2006 (Laramie, WY) -- The 2007 Dog Day Afternoon calendars have arrived just in time for the holidays.  The perfect gift for any dog-lover, calendars feature winners of the photo contest held during the 1st Annual Dog Day Afternoon.  UW Community Service Education sponsored the free event in August that benefited the Laramie Animal Shelter and featured local vendors, flyball demonstrations, dog washes and a micro-chipping clinic. More than 50 dogs and cats were fitted with microchips, ensuring they will find their way home if they ever get lost.

Calendars are available at UW Beta House, Lincoln Printing, The Feed Store, The Pet Spa and Hydro Hounds.  If you would like more information on the event please contact Pam Brekken at 766-5635.
