Laramie, WY (December 22, 2006) – Peggy Bell, Lisa Halbsgut and Gregor Walker recently completed the business certificate program offered by UW Community Enrichment Programs.
The certificate program consisted of seven classes that were held Tuesday afternoons, beginning September 26. The classes included Basic Accounting, Basic Computer Skills for the Office, Basic Business Writing, Customer Service, Office Etiquette and Ethics, Problem Solving and Interview Skills.
“This has been a nice jump start for me because I am changing careers,” said Bell.
These classes were designed to help improve communication skills and enhance office relations, as well as to get the students motivated to take a positive difference in their life and organization.
“I plan to go back to school, and these classes have encouraged me to do that,” said Halbsgut. “I will definitely use the skills that I’ve learned.”
“This program will help me pursue a better job and to figure out what I want to do in school,” added Walker.
