AUTOCAD 2007 Online Training Program Offered by the University of Wyoming

February 15, 2007 (Laramie, WY) -- The University of Wyoming announced today that a new AutoCAD 2007 online training program is available for immediate enrollment. The 150-hour program is offered through a partnership with Gatlin Education Services.

Designed as a comprehensive basic course, AutoCAD 2007 will teach students the skills needed to create and edit simple drawings and gradually introduce more advanced AutoCAD skills. Upon completion of the course, students will have learned to work with 2D drawing and editing tools, objects on layers, text and basic dimensions. They will also work with efficiency tools, complex objects, using external reference/image files, advanced plotting and enhancing productivity with simple customizations.

“AutoCAD is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering, architecture, facilities planning and management,” said Stephen Gatlin, founder of Fort Worth-based Gatlin Education Services. “Employers seek workers skilled in AutoCAD more than any other CAD system.”
