July 31, 2007 (Laramie, WY) --Do you use your computer to write? You need to know Microsoft Word
2007, the word processor PC Magazine once ranked as one of the
"strongest and most intelligent programs ever written." The latest
release of this powerful application brings with it a dramatically
retooled interface that makes the program faster and more responsive
to the user's needs.
In the new online course, "Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007,"
instructor Craig Power guides both novice and veteran Word users
through the most important features of this powerful appplication.
"I designed my course with the new Word 2007 user in mind," says
Power. "If you're a first-time user, this course will give you all the
tools you need to succeed. And if you're a Microsoft Word veteran,
you're certain to leave this course with an up-to-date skill
set--along with a renewed appreciation for Word's capabilities."
Power's students learn how to navigate the 2007 interface and take
full advantage of Word's many new features. They'll get firsthand
experience with navigation, editing, file management, and printing,
and they'll have plenty of opportunities to format and organize their
documents.
"This is a hands-on course," said Power. "I take pride in my ability
to walk students through every concept I teach, using language that is
easy to understand and carefully thought-out instructions that do not
leave out a single step."
The course includes a classroom that is open day and night. Students
can interact with the instructor and their fellow students in
Web-based discussion areas, where they can ask as many course-related
questions as they'd like. A response is usually promised within one
business day, and often arrives much sooner than that.
Students can take "Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007" from the
convenience of home or office, and at any time of the day or night.
