College of Business Protocol
for Controlled Enrollment
The following guidelines have been adopted by the college to provide a high quality educational degree program, and to assist students in predictably planning their program of study.
All Online UW business administration degree students are subject to the course prerequisites and
requirements for advanced business standing. All students transferring to the
College of Business will be required to apply to the University of Wyoming, have
a 2.50 cumulative grade point average, and advanced business standing (ABS)
before being considered for admission into the Business Administration Online
Program. The application for the online business administration degree
program must be completed on or before March 15 for fall enrollment,
October 15
for spring enrollment, and March 1 for summer enrollment.
Students must attain a 2.50 GPA for graduation for both College of Business and
UW courses, and must take the ETS exam to graduate.
Students will be enrolled into courses managed by controlled enrollment according to the following protocol:
Students pursuing only the real estate certificate (not a degree) should contact the College of Business Academic Advising Office for the protocol for controlled enrollment for this program. See contact information below.
The College of Business Academic Advising Office will review and approve requests for enrollment into College of Business courses managed by controlled enrollment.
