About the Program
This master of arts degree in education with a specialization in special education is designed for teachers seeking competence in instructional and behavioral strategies for students with learning/behavioral problems. The program is offered by the University of Wyoming College of Education and delivered through the Division of Outreach Credit Programs.

The program was developed to accommodate all students.  There are two tracks that students may chose depending on their circumstance. Track I is for full time students that can take 12 credits per semester.  Track II is for non full time students.  Visit the College of Education special education Web site at www.uwyo.edu/sped/ to learn more.

Courses are offered through video conferencing and online.

Following the completion of the master's program, certification in special education may be obtained from the Wyoming Department of Education.
