RN/BSN Completion Track

About the Program
The RN/BSN completion track is designed for nurses who have graduated from diploma or associate degree nursing programs and have current, active RN licenses.

The RN/BSN is designed for the registered nurse with an associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing, or for the student who is currently pursuing said degrees.

The RN/BSN is delivered nationwide via Online UW, with no on-campus time required. Theory courses are completely online and one clinical course is completed during the last semester of the program in a public health nursing setting. Contract and preceptor must be in place before the clinical can begin. Plan early for clinical courses. A copy of the student’s RN license and malpractice insurance must be kept on file with the RN/BSN program’s main office.

All programs offered by the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.

To ensure you the availability of required courses in this program, enrollment into courses is managed and approved by the School of Nursing. (More information on Controlled Enrollment
