Who We Are & What We Do
The Events Planning Office, which is located on the second floor of The Outreach School, Beta House opened for business on February 7, 2000. Coodinator Denise Marquiss is a great resource for anyone who is trying to plan a UW event. In addition to Events Planning Coordinator, she registers all groups on campus. Denise's services range from extensive conference coordination to basic on-campus conference coordination entailing the use of public meeting rooms, housing, and/or food service. When your group uses this office, we will:

  • make your reservations
  • handle contract & risk management needs
  • distribute information to suppliers, such as Admissions, University Public Relations, Campus Police, Physical Plant, etc.

How We Can Help You
Events Planning Office on the University of Wyoming campus is your one-stop shop for campus-wide space reservations and events coordination. Our Core Support Services include:
Facilities Scheduling
We have a master scheduling program which allocates available space according to recently set-up guidelines.
Contract Negotiation
We negotiate all housing, food service, emergency contact services, equipment, transportation, and risk management arrangements.
Consolidated Billing
We track and monitor all bills from various vendors and departments on campus so you don't have the headache.
Master Calendar Listings
We list all events on the Center for Conferences & Continuing Education Upcoming Conferences web site as well listing events on the UW Public Relations calendar.
Recruitment
We work closely with Admissions and Athletics to help recruitment future students to the University of Wyoming.
Community Business Networking
We work closely with local businesses including travel agencies, hospitality establishements, restaurants and retailers to assemble competitive pricing and incentive packages for groups & organizations considering Laramie as the location for their events.
