Julie Sellers - Spanish for Law Enforcement

Julie Sellers has an extensive language background.  She received her B.A. in Spanish and French, as well as a M.A. in Spanish from Kansas State University before completing a second M.A. in International Studies and a Ph.D. in Education from UW.  She taught Spanish at UW for seven years, and was a Foreign Language Training & Content Specialist for the Wyoming Department of Education for two years.  She is also contributing editor, copy editor, and writer for McGraw-Hill, and works as a Spanish Court Interpreter for the Municipal and District Courts, which is how she became interested in teaching Spanish for Law Enforcement.  Julie is married to P.J. Vaske, and they have a black lab, Rupert.  In her spare time, Julie enjoys reading, walking Rupert, college football, writing, and watching soap operas in Spanish!
