Sylvia retired after 38 years of teaching Physical Education and Health at Laramie Junior High. In addition to teaching, she coached and officiated volleyball for 30 plus years. She is enjoying her retirement by teaching the morning hydro class two days a week, walking her dog, reading, dancing and taking piano lessons. She loves spending time at her mountain cabin with her husband who retired from the University of Wyoming. She is a co-director of a junior high church camp and plays handbells in the handbell choir at her church.
