Fitness - Get Moving & Get in Shape!

Cardio Kickboxing

If you want an upbeat and exciting workout, look no further!  Your legs and fists will be flying while you get a one of a kind total body workout. 
         Instructor Jesse Johnston has been dancing for 5 years and teaching fitness classes for two years.

Dance Aerobics  

Combines simple to intermediate dance moves with aerobics, all to the sound of the hottest tracks.  Come get your groove on and your heart pumping!

Power Kick!  

Get up in the morning and get going! A rigorous, but fun workout that gets blood and oxygen flowing quickly through your body. A high calorie burning exercise combining kick boxing and hip hop dance moves that  keeps you on your toes. Make sure to bring plenty of water, comfortable shoes and a towel.

Yoga Pilates Combo

Looking to strengthen and tone your body while improving flexibility? Class is a challenging combination of yoga and Pilates that isolates different muscle groups while going easy on the joints!  This class not only builds strength but also improves core stability and balance.  All fitness levels welcome.

Beginning Racquetball 

A sport that can be enjoyed throughout the lifetime.  It is great exercise, fun competition, and an amazing stress reliever.  Beginning racquetball players (of any age) will learn fundamentals including rules, skills, and game strategy. Bring safety goggles and two racquetballs.  Racquets provided.   Court shoes must be carried in.

Intermediate/Advanced Racquetball 

Skill, strategy, and quickness are the most important requirements of racquetball.  Sign up for a fun workout and receive coaching to improve your racquetball game!  Instructor Lena Edmunds will help you fine-tune your skills to help you improve in this exciting sport.  Bring safety goggles and two racquetballs.  Racquets provided.   Court shoes must be carried in.

Morning Hydrobics 

Join us bright and early for this low impact cardio workout.  If you had problems with ankles, knees, and your back and still want to enjoy a workout, this is perfect for you.  Participants will be led through a warm up, aerobic exercise, and cool down period.  Swimming skills are not required.

Evening Hydrobics

Want to stay cool and enjoy a great workout?  Try this low impact high resistance cardio workout.  Class is perfect for a wide range of fitness levels from beginner to intermediate.  Muscular conditioning and flexibility are emphasized in this well-rounded workout.

Marathon and Half-Marathon Training 101

Have you always wanted to run a marathon or a half-marathon, but didn’t know where to start?  Here’s your opportunity to train and gain experience for completing a marathon (26.2 miles) or a half-marathon (13.1 mile) race.  Course focuses on building a large base of running experience, running through various terrains and various distances.   Training culminates by running half or full marathon!  (Race participation TBD by group and is optional). 
         Instructor Brian Martisius is an avid runner with 10 years of experience and several long distance races finishes, including several marathons and an ultra marathon. 
         Note: Schedule listed below is tentative – you do not have to attend each and every session to participate, as instructor will set up runs and workouts that can be done with the group or on your own.
