Tuition & Fees


Most outreach students are charged tuition at resident rates based on their student standing. An additional nonrefundable delivery fee is assessed on a per-credit-hour basis (please see chart below for more information).

Tuition is charged according to the students’ program and career classification. Undergraduate credit will appear on a student’s undergraduate transcript. Graduate credit will appear on a student’s graduate transcript. The University of Wyoming trustees and administration reserve the right to change tuition and fees at any time.

*Fees are only refundable through the drop/add period. Online fees are nonrefundable after the drop/add period. The online delivery fee is $40 per credit hour with a $50 minimum per course. The University of Wyoming Trustees reserve the right to change tuition and fees at any time.

Late Fees
The deadline for registration is dependent upon the semester. Call 1-800-448-7801 or check the calendar for the most up-to-date information. Registration forms received after this date will be assessed a late fee of $25 per course.

Visitor Fee
Members of the public who are not otherwise enrolled in university courses and who are not university employees, may visit classes taught as part of university courses. To visit any number of classes in a specified section of a course during a specified semester, an individual must secure written permission from the instructor and pay a $25 visitor's fee.

Visiting a class entitles the visitor to a seat in the class and the privilege of listening without class participation rights. The visitor receives no credit and subsequent credit by examination is not available. Persons wishing to visit classes must purchase visitor's cards from their regional centers or from Outreach Credit Programs at 1-800-448-7801.

Tuition Waiver
Eligible students must obtain the necessary form. After completing the form, the student should have it signed by his/her supervisor, the appointing authority, and the human resources department representative. This form should be submitted at the time of registration as a method of payment. Any fees or additional charges are not covered by the waiver and are the responsibility of the student.

Incomplete forms will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the student to see that forms are filled out completely. Forms received after the end of the semester cannot be applied to previous semester charges. The student will be responsible for any balance due.

APPLICATIONS AND FEES
Students enroll in outreach courses must be apply to UW and pay an application fee--$30 for undergraduate and $50 for graduate.
