Wyoming State Master Gardener Conference
April 25 - April 27, 2008
OVERVIEW

Park County Master Gardeners held their first
Master Gardener training classes in 1997. Our group
was officially formed in 2002 and the bylaws and policies
were voted on and accepted in 2004. Master
Gardener’s, in general, are comprised of ordinary people with an avid love of gardening and a desire to know
more. The program provides intense training classes
and its members are committed to community service,
continued education each year and volunteering our
time in our local Cooperative Extension offices.
Park County Master Gardener’s are becoming very
active in our communities. We are visible at our local
nurseries, in our extension offices, we have an information
table at the Park County Fair, we helped plan and
maintain a Serenity Garden at our hospital in Cody, we plant public gardens and give informational classes
throughout the year. Our services are strictly volunteer
and free. With all this said, we have only just begun.
