We are submitting the necessary documentation for professional credits to be approved for the conference from the organizations listed below.
- American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences
The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences has approved
9.5 PDUs (professional development units) for the main conference and 3
PDUs for the post-conference workshops.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation:
Application for contact hours has been made to CNE-Net, the education division of the North Dakota Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. - Certifying Board for Dietary Managers:
The Certifying Board for Dietary Managers has approved the conference for 10 clock hours for the main conference and 3 clock hours for the post-conference workshops.
- Commission on Dietetic Registration:
The Commission on Dietetic Registration has approved the conference for 10.5 CEUs for the main conference and 3 CEUs for the post-conference workshops.
- National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.:
The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing has approved the conference for 12 CECH (Continuing Education Contact Hours) for Health Education Specialists: 9 CHEC for the main conference and 3 CHEC for the post-conference workshops.
- Professional Teaching Standards Board
The Professional Teaching Standards Board has approved Shaping a Healthy Future IV for 1/2 credit; 9.5 contact hours for the main conference and 3 contact hours for the post-conference.
- Wyoming Children’s Action Alliance – Wyoming STARS has approved Shaping a Healthy Future IV for 15.0 clock hours as follows:
- Wednesday - 3.5 contact hours
- Thursday - 5.5 contact hours
- Friday - regular conference - 2.5 contact hours
- Friday - post-conference - 3.5 contact hours
This conference provides the following core areas of knowledge in the Competency Wheel: Health, Nutrition, and Safety; The Active learning Environment; Child Growth and Development; and Professionalism.
- Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board:
As communicated by the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board, "It is the licensee’s responsibility to obtain from the continuing education activity sponsor, the necessary documentation for submission to be re-licensed. A sign in sheet and certificate of attendance will be provided."
- Wyoming Psychological Association
The Wyoming Psychological Association has approved the main conference
for 9.5 hours and the post-conference workshops for 3 hours each.
