Call for Poster Session Abstracts
Share Fair: Exhibits, Posters, and Community Projects and Resources

Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Snow King Pavilion at Jackson, Wyoming

Would you like to share information about a . . .
  • Teaching Tool or Lesson you developed?
  • Survey or Needs Assessment you used?                                                            
  • Procedure you implemented?
  • Study or other research you conducted?
  • Community-based project you facilitated?
If yes, please consider submitting an abstract of your work!  Poster session abstracts that are accepted for presentation will be compiled for conference participants. This is a great opportunity to learn and share with colleagues. Abstracts on topics relating to fitness/health, food/nutrition, healthy school environments, cooking with kids, and health-at-every-size approaches are encouraged, especially those reflecting the mission and guiding principles of WIN Wyoming (www.uwyo.edu/winwyoming).
   
Please submit the following:  
  1. Title Page* – containing the following:
      • Title of submission
      • Name(s) and credentials of author(s)
      • Contact name, address, phone, email and fax
      • Display Needs - a six-foot table, two chairs and tablecloth will be provided at no charge. Please check additions you will need:

      Please describe any other special arrangements you would need:

  1. Abstract - in 300 words or less, describe the project including items below:
      • Title of submission.
      • Name(s) and credentials of authors(s).
      • Rationale: Why did you do this?
      • Objective: What did you set out to achieve?
      • Techniques/Method: What did you do and with whom?
      • Evaluation: How did you assess what you did? (Include successes and changes you would make in future efforts.)
  2. Other comments/insights.

Do not send a check now. You will receive an invoice with notification of acceptance.

Mail hard copy of the title page, abstract and a CD containing the title page in Word or Word Perfect to Patti Griffith, PO Box 887, Riverton, WY 82501 (phone 307-857-3654).

Deadline: Submissions must be received by February 8, 2008. Notification of acceptance will be sent no later than Friday, March 7. Presenters must register for the conference on their own.
